CHITTAGONG: Three persons were held for giving proxy examination in the 1st year honors admission test of Chittagong University (CU) E-unit on Saturday (October 29).

Confirming the matter to Banglanews CU assistant Proctor Liton Mitra said one of the detainees is identified as its current student while others identity still unknown.

Detail will be informed after completing the interrogation, he added.

Earlier, the detained proxy examinees had been punished and jailed through mobile court.
