DHAKA: Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) arrested the acting exam controller of National University (NU) M Badruzzaman in a money embezzlement case.

ACC deputy director (public relations) Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya on Monday (March 13) told Banglanews that a team of the anti-graft body led by deputy director Morshed Alam arrested Badruzzaman from his Mirpur residence in the capital.

He further said that the NU exam controller has been arrested in a case filed on charge of embezzling Tk 10,463,394 by giving selection grade to officials despite the ministry’s directions against it.
