DHAKA UNIVERSITY: The first year honours admission test of the Dhaka University (DU)’s ‘Kha’ (B) unit for 2017-18 academic session will be held on Friday (September 22).
The one-hour test will be held from 10:00 am to 11:00am at 70 exam centers on the university campus and outside the campus, says a release of the university issued on Thursday (September 21).
Some 13 applicants will contest for each seat, as a total of 32,749 admission seekers are scheduled to contest for 2,363 seats in ‘Kha’ unit under Arts Faculty of the university.
The applicants are prohibited to carry any kind of electronic devices, including mobile phone and communicable devices, during the test. Mobile courts will remain operational to curb any sorts of cheating during the exam.
The seat-plan of the admission test could be known from the university website- admission.eis.du.ac.bd.
Meanwhile, admission test for drawing under ‘Cha’ (F) unit is scheduled to be held on Saturday (September 23). The test will be held from 10:00am to 11:30 am at the Fine Arts Faculty of the university.
About 1,552 applicants, who were selected through 'general knowledge' test on September 16, will take part in the drawing test against 135 seats.
Earlier on September 15, the admission test for ‘Ga’ (C) unit was held. The test results of Dhaka University’s ‘Ga’ (C) unit and ‘Cha’ (F) unit were published on Monday (September 18).
