JESSORE: The authorities of Jessore University of Science & Technology (JUST) on Saturday (October 07) suspended seven leaders and activists of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL), the student wing of the ruling Awami League, over the incident of bombing.
 
The decision was taken at the meeting of Regent Board held on the campus with the board Chairman and Vice Chancellor of the university Prof Dr M Anwar Hossain in the chair.

The meeting also decided to form a probe committee to investigate the incident of bombing for occupying the residential hall illegally.

The suspended seven students are- JUST unit BCL general secretary SM Shamim Hasan and Biplab Kumar Shanto of genetic engineering department, Tanveer Foysal of environment and technology department, Al Mamum Milon and Masudur Rahman Rony of physical education and sports science department, Tanveer Ahmed Tanin and Ashik Khandaker of petroleum and mining engineering department.  

The students are the leaders and activists of Chhatra League.
