JDC centre asst secy among 5 teachers withdrawn in Laxmipur

LAXMIPUR: An assistant secretary of a Junior Dakhil Certificate (JSC) exam centre and four other teachers, who were performing duty in the centre, were withdrawn at Kamalnagar in Laxmipur over violating rules.

Meanwhile, 17 mobile phone sets were also seized from the centre on Tuesday (November 07).

Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) of Kamalnagar Maohammad Nasir Uddin Sarwar and secretary of the JDC exam centre Maulana Mohammad Ali Hossain confirmed the matter in separate letters.

The UNO office informed that assistant secretary of Hazirhat Hamedia Fazil Degree Madrasa centre Maulana Delwar Hossian was withdrawn. He is also vice principal of the madrasa.

On the other hand, the centre secretary said that four inspectors of the centre were withdrawn as they were bearing mobile phone sets during the exam.  

The four teachers are- Md AKhter Hossain of Hazirhat Hamedia Fazil Degree Madrasa, Md Ameer Hossain of Matabbarnagar Darussunnat Alim Madrasa, Md Hafiz Ullah of Torabganj Ahmadia Dakhil Madrasa and Moulvi Hamidur Rahman of Hazipara Al-Arafah Dakhil Madrasa.
