DHAKA: At least 145,383 students were absent on the first day of primary terminal and Ibtedayi terminal examinations across the country on Sunday (November 19).
Deputy director of Directorate of Primary Education AHM Golam Kibria said that a total of 1, 06, 471 students were absent on the first day of primary terminal examinations across the country.
On the other hand, a total of 38,912 students were absent in Ibtedayi terminal examinations.
This year, a total of 28, 06, 179 examinees were registered to take part in the public examinations for Class V students.
