DHAKA: The Dhaka education board said the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and its equivalent examinations will be held as per the previous schedule as the High court stayed the Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) mayoral by-polls.
Dhaka education board said it on Wednesday (January 17).
The education board decided to change the exam routine due to the DNCC by-polls. However, sources said the exams will be held as per the previous routine since the polls have been halted.
According to declared schedule, the DNCC mayoral polls were supposed to be held on February 26. For that, the SSC exams to be held on Feb 24, 25 were deferred. But on Wednesday (Jan 17), the High Court stayed the DNCC by-polls for three months and the exams are now back on schedule.
