DHAKA: The process of admission for the academic session of 2013-2014 of Dhaka University (DU) began on Thursday noon.
Vice-Chancellor of the university Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique inaugurated the admission process at conference hall of Old Senate Bhaban of the varsity at 12:08 noon.
After inauguration, admission committee convener Hasibur Rashid briefed different sides of online admission process to the journalists.
The application forms will available at the website: admission.univdhaka.edu.
The admission seekers can apply through online till September 30.
The admission test of ‘Gha’ unit (Social Science) will be held on November 1 on first day of the admission test.
The examination of ‘Ka’ unit (Science) on November 22, ‘Kha’ unit (Arts) on November 8 and ‘Ga’ unit (Business Administration) on November 15 and ‘Cha’ unit (Fine Arts) will be held on November 23.
Regarding the changes of admission process, the VC said the authorities of the university always try to ease the admission process for students.
He added: “As part of the good effort and to beef up the security, some changes have been brought in the admission process.”
