DHAKA: As many as 13,11,457 students will be appearing for the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations beginning from April 2, with an increase of 1,27,771 examinees compared to the previous year.
Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid came up with the information at a press briefing at the secretariat on Wednesday (March 28).
Of the total examinees, 6,92,730 are males and 6,18,728 females.
The exams will held at 2,541 examination centers across the country.
Beginning from April 2, the exams will end on May 13.
