DHAKA UNIVERSITY: Social Welfare & Research Institute faculty Prof Dr Muhamamd Samad has been appointed pro Vice-Chancellor (Administration) of Dhaka University (DU).
Prof Samad confirmed the matter to Banglanews Sunday noon (May 27).
DU VC Prof Dr Akhtaruzzaman said that the education ministry has confirmed the matter.
A formal letter is expected to be received soon, he added.
