SYLHET: The authorities of Sylhet Agricultural University (SAU) declared that the university will remain close for indefinite period of time following factional clash between two groups of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL).
Moreover, all students were asked to leave dormitories.
The decision was made in an urgent meeting on Thursday noon (May 31). Male students were asked to leave halls within 5:30pm today and female students were asked to leave by 9:00am Friday (June 1).
Confirming the matter, SAU registrar Badrul Islam Shoeb said the university is declared shut considering the tension between BCL groups. Pre-scheduled examinations were also postponed.
