CHATTOGRAM: Deputy Minister for Education Barrister Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury Nowfel vowed to take stern actions in order to prevent the recurring incidents of question paper leakage.
He said “Zero tolerance policy will be adopted to root out corruption from education sector. The measures to nationalize more schools and colleges in Chattogram will be initiated. Development of the government schools and colleges infrastructure will also be facilitated”.
The Deputy Minister came up with promises while exchanging views with party leaders and activists at Chattogram Circuit House on Friday (Jan 11)
“I’m like your son. With the support of you, I have obtained an absolute win in the election. I will try my level best to return the trust that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina kept on me giving place in her new cabinet,” Nowfel, also organizing secretary of Awami League.
Chattogram City AL general secretary and City mayor A J M Nasir Uddin said, “Nowfel is like our son. We all will stand beside Nowfel in discharging his duty for which the premier assigned him”.
Nowfel, the new member of the current cabinet, is scheduled to join an extended meeting of Awami League at Bangabandhu Hall of Chattogram Press Club this afternoon.
