RAJSHAHI: Five Nepali students left Rajshahi University (RU) campus secretly without taking permission from varsity administration.
“They did not inform the authority of Mir Abdul Kaiyum International Dormitory of the university and varsity administration, prior to leave the campus,” according to the written complaint sent to the RU proctor.
Dormitory warden professor Asadul Islam filed the complaint after failing to trace whereabouts of them despite a good search from department and their friends.
Asked, RU Proctor Professor Lutfor Rahman confirmed the matter to Banglanews on Thursday (Jan 17) noon.
Four out of five are the first year students of Veterinary & Animal Science Department while another is student of Computer Science & Engineering Department. They have got admission in 2017-18.
Besides, the five Nepali students left their dorm on January 9 without permission, the complaint reads.
Asked Veterinary & Animal Science Department chairman Prof Dr Kamruzzaman said “The five students were irregular in class activities from the beginning of their academic session. They have probably left the campus not being able to compete with their classmates in study”.
