DHAKA: Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni assured of no question paper leakage during the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations that is scheduled to begin across the country from Saturday (February 2).
The assurance came from a press conference held at the secretariat on Thursday (January 31).
Dr Dipu Moni said, “There were no question paper leaks in the country in 2018. Hopefully, there will be no question paper leaks this year too. Almost 80% of the news about question paper leaks was rumor.”
“So, I call upon the guardians not to listen to rumors,” Dr Dipu Moni also said.
Law enforcement agencies will take tough actions for spreading rumors about question paper leaks.
This year, a total of 21, 35,333 students, including 10, 70,441 boys and 10, 64,892 girls, are expected to appear for the examinations from 28,682 institutions.
The examinations are arranged at 3,497 centers.
Deputy Minister for Education Barrister Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury Nowfel, Education Secretary Sohrab Hossain and others were present at the conference.
