DHAKA: Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni warned of tough action against any attempt to leak question papers of Secondary School Certificate and equivalent examinations.
The education minister came up with the warming after visiting an exam centre at Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib Government Secondary School in Dhaka on Saturday (February 2).
“Tough action will be taken against any information about question paper leak or rumor found in anywhere of the country. We want the examination to be completely free of question paper leak or any unfair means. So far, examinations are going smoothly. Nothing negative has been reported yet,” Dr Dipu Moni said.
Deputy Minister for Education Barrister Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury Nowfel, Education Secretary Sohrab Hossain and others accompanied her.
The Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations-2019 under ten education boards began across the country on Saturday morning.
This year, a total of 21, 35,333 students, including 10, 70,441 boys and 10, 64,892 girls, are expected to appear the examinations from 28,682 institutions.
