DHAKA: Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni said the allegation of wrong question papers distribution to students at several centres on the first day of SSC and equivalent examinations is being scrutinized.
The minister was talking to reporters after visiting an examination centre at Bakshibazar Alia Madrasa in the capital city on Sunday (February 3).
“The wrong question papers distribution incident has come under scrutiny. Some immediate steps have already been taken. All measures have been taken to ensure smooth conduct of SSC examinations,” said Dr Dipu Moni.
On Saturday (February 2), students at various centres across the country were reportedly given Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) part of Bangla 1st paper as per old syllabus.
Examinees and guardians blamed the wrong question papers for poor performance in the exams.
Dr Dipu Moni, flanked by Education Secretary Sohrab Hossain, Vocational and Madarasa Education Division Secretary Nd Alamgir, Madrasa Education Department Director General Shafiuddin Ahmad and others, visited the exam centre.
