DHAKA:  Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Professor Md Akhtaruzzaman said the Ducsu polls were held in a free, fair, and festive manner except some isolated incidents.

The VC told Banglanews after the end of voting of in all halls except for 2 unfinished ones on Monday (March 11).

The DU VC said, “I thank students, because they exercised the franchise in a disciplined way. They voted as per the rules of democracy. I visited many centers and saw students lining up to cast their votes.”

Dhaka University Central Students’ Union election held from 8am to 2pm on Monday.
