DHAKA: Education Minister Dipu Moni stressed the need of introducing a combined entry test to all the public universities vowing to minimize sufferings of the applicants. 

“It is very urgent. I know that several universities oppose it because of various reasons. But, a combined admission test is very important for the students and guardians,” she said.  

Dipu Moni was holding a views-exchanging meeting with the education reporters at the secretariat, Wednesday (April 10) noon. 

A combined entry test can reduce expenses and sufferings of the students as they have to travel a lot for tests at the varsities in various locations under existing system, she added.

In this regard, Dipu Moni also mentioned the combined system at the medical colleges which was introduced several years back.
