DHAKA: The University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) and Bangladesh Petrochemical Company Limited (BPCL) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
The MoU was signed at the ULAB Chancellery in Dhanmondi on 30 July 2019.
Professor Dr. HM Jahirul Haque, Vice-Chancellor of ULAB and Mr. Khadem Mahmud Yusuf, MD & CEO, BPCL signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organisations.
Professor Imran Rahman, Special Advisor to the ULAB Board of Trustees, Dr. Samiya A Selim, Associate Professor & Director, Center for Sustainable Development of ULAB and other high officials from both institutions were present.
The aim of the MoU is to collaborate research study or project, seminars, conferences, and training programs; exchange the academic information and materials in the fields of interest mutually agreed upon by both of the institutes.
The aims of the MoU inclues-placing joint proposals to the government, national and international agencies and universities for conducting sponsored research projects; conducting joint supervision for research, training and publications; supporting students and faculty members in research and knowledge sharing and management through supporting internship, relevant collaborative learning interventions.
