DHAKA: The three-day Dhaka Lit Fest (DLF), previously known as Hay Festival Dhaka, will be held at Bangla Academy in the capital from November 7 to 9.
DLF, an internationally recognized literary festival, is open from 9am to 7 pm.
Organizers of the festival held a press conference at the Jatiya Press Club in Dhaka on Tuesday (November 5).
The directors of DLF Ahsan Akbar and Kazi Anis Ahmed attended the press conference.
This year, award-winning author and Booker prize Monika Ali, literary icon Shankar, Pulitzer Prize-winning writer Jeffrey Gettleman, historian William Dalrymple, writer Shashi Tharoor, DSC Prize-winning writer HM Naqvi, poet Tishani Doshi, award-winning author Swapnamoy Chakraborty, Syed Manzoorul Islam, Imdadul Haq Milan among others are going to enlighten.
Famous novelists, writers, journalists and noted personalities from 18 countries of the world will grace Bangla Academy premises.
DLF began its journey in 2011.
DLF is being organized by Jatrik, with Bangla Academy as co-host and the cultural affairs ministry as special partner.
