DHAKA: The written examinations of the 40th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) will be held from January 4 to January 8 next year.
According to a circular signed by AIM Nesar Uddin, examination controller (cadre) of the Public Service Commission (PSC) on Tuesday, detailed instructions regarding the examination hall and seat-plan will be informed in due time.
The results of the 40th BCS preliminary examination were published on July 25.
A total of 20,277 candidates qualified in the preliminary tests out of 4,12,532 candidates who appeared the exam held on May 3.
In total, 1903 cadres including 200 in administration, 72 in police, 465 in general will be recruited through the 40th BCS.
