DHAKA: The Dhaka University has also decided not to join the integrated admission test of public universities, which is expected to begin from the 2020-21 academic session.
The decision came from the Academic Council Meeting held at the Senate Building of the university with DU Vice Chancellor Prof M Akhtaruzzman in the chair on Monday (Feb 24) afternoon.
The meeting sources said the university will take its own admission test like before.
On February 20, Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) decided not to join the uniform admission system.
The UGC on January 23 decided to introduce the uniform entry test in all public universities across the country from the academic year 2020-21.
