DHAKA: Dhaka University authorities on Monday (March 16) decided to suspend its academic activities from March 18 to March 28 amid growing coronavirus fears in the country.

The decision came from an emergency meeting, with DU Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman in chair this morning.

Faculty deans, directors of all institutes, heads of all the departments and hall provosts of the university were present at the meeting that started at 10:00 am.
