DHAKA UNIVERSITY: An 18-day vacation of Dhaka University (DU) will begin from Sunday on the occasion of holy Eid-ul-Azha and Durga Puja.

But the vacation already has started as Friday and Saturday is weekly holyday.

Director of DU Public Relation’s office Ashraf Ali Khan confirmed the matter to banglanews.

He said that the university will remain closed till October 30. But administrative activities will begin from October 20 while academic activities to begin on October 31.

Though university campus will remain closed, hostels will remain open during the vacation.

Besides, University students started to leave the hostels and campus to enjoy the vacation.
