Three parliament members on Wednesday demanded reopening of academic institutions of the country, according to media report.
They made their demand taking part in the thanksgiving motion on the President’s address in the parliament session on Wednesday presided over by Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury.
Former State Minister for Primary and Mass Education Motahar Hossain said the education is being hampered due to closure of educational institutes amid coronavirus pandemic.
Solaiman Haque Joarder Selun MP from Chuadanga-1 said village students are not getting benefit immensely although virtual classes are going on.
The educational institutions should be reopened as soon as possible, Bogra-6 MP Rezaul Karim Bablu told the parliament.
