Professor Md Imdadul Hoque of Dhaka University's botany department has been made the Vice-Chancellor (VC) of Jagannath University (JnU).
President Md Abdul Hamid, also the Chancellor of the university, appointed him as JnU VC for a four-year term.
The Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education issued a gazette notification in this regard on Tuesday.
