The government on Sunday will decide whether the educational institutions of the country will be closed after receiving the opinion of the National Technical Advisory Committee on Covid-19.
The Ministry of Education will hold a meeting with the National Technical Advisory Committee in this regard.
Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni on Saturday (Jan 8) made the remark while responding to query of reporters after the Silver Jubilee celebrations of Imperial College in the capital.
Dipu Moni, however, said, "We do not want to close educational institutions. Arrangements are also being made for the students so that they can come to their classes receiving vaccines. There may be little difficulty for those below 12 years of age. We will also take decision on the issues."
The minister also urged all to be aware to prevent corona infection.
