The Ambitious Seventeen
Leaves were scattered on the ground,
Filled with rage and ambition like a hound:
The captain uttered we sail at three
As if the ambitious journey was spree.
The Sun went shimmering like gold
That made the galactic sea waves look old.
And upfront the prestigious Bengal behold
Resembling to the fairytales that were told.
Blood had to be spilled
envisioned the valorous Seventeen
For the trumpet of victory
they had already foreseen.
A prophecy of a western warrior foretold
who would conquer the throne with a jolt.
The mysterious “Seventeen” had the intent
conquer without setting any tent.
The throne was empty
Blood needn’t to be shed,
The triumph foretold was finally made.
Then rose a new glamorous sun
and thus their reign of prosperity begun:
The ambitious “Seventeen” was led by a prodigy
In legends, he is known as
Ikhtiar Uddin Mohammad Bin Bakhtiar khilji
Lying on the death bed, he went
“Find me where springs End.”
