The results of MBBS admission test under 2021-22 academic session has been published today (April 5).
A total of 79,339 students passed the exam across the country. This year the pass rate is 55.13 percent.
Health and family welfare minister Zahid Maleque announced the results at a press conference held at the conference room of Directorate General of Medical Education (DGME) in Mohakhali of the capital this noon.
Addressing the press conference, the health minister disclosed the results mentioning that 79,337 students came out successfull.
As per announcement, there are 72 private, 37 government medical colleges in Bangladesh.
There are 4, 350 seats in government medical colleges and 6289 seats in private medical colleges in the country to admit students for MBBS course.
A total of 1885 male and 2345 female students can get admission in the government colleges.
A total of 139,742 or 97.3 percent admission seekers appeared at the MBBS admission test this year.
Sumiya Moslem Mim stood first in the exam scored 93.5 in the tests.
