The government has decided to hold Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations of this year after the Eid-ul-Azha due to devastating floods in the country.
Secretary of Secondary and Higher Education Division Md Abu Bakar Siddique disclosed this information on Wednesday.
It would not be possible to hold SSC and equivalent exams before the Eid-ul-Azha due to the country's overall flood situation. The Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examinations will also be deferred accordingly, he said
The SSC and equivalent examinations of this year were scheduled to begin on June 19. As per the schedule, the exams were supposed to be complete by July 6. But the SSC and equivalent exams were postponed on June 17 due to deterioration of floods in the country.
