The government is mulling over extending the weekend at educational institutions across the country to save electricity.
 
Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni today said that considering the current situation of the country, the government is thinking of extending the weekend at the educational institutions to save electricity.
 
She said these while addressing the opening ceremony of the National Conference of Dhaka National Polytechnic Institute Teachers Association held at the Polytechnic Institute Auditorium in the city.
 
Director General of Directorate of Bangladesh Technical Education Dr Md Omar Faruque, President of Polytechnic Teachers Association Md Aman Ullah Khan, and General Secretary Akhtar Hossain, among others, were present.
