Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni said that the government is giving an effort to develop Ebtedayee Madrasah.

The madrasah is also teaching the national curriculum to its students apart from providing Islamic education, the minister said.

She gave the information at a conference room of the Education Ministry in the capital on Wednesday.

Teacher representatives placed a number of demands at the meeting for the betterment of Madrasah and its education system.

The education minister said that measures will be taken to progress madrasah education, improve the quality of madrasah students and extend facilities.
