Qatar Airways has appointed Bollywood icon Deepika Padukone as the global ambassador for the airline.

Padukone, who was last seen in Pathaan, took to Instagram to share the announcement.

“Thrilled to be announced global brand ambassador for @qatarairways! Because there’s nothing else quite like it…,” she said.

The Bollywood star has been a fan-favourite not only in India, but also in the Middle East. She was last seen in Qatar unveiling the FIFA World Cup 2022 trophy on December 18, 2022.

Aside from Qatar Airways, Padukone is also the global ambassador from luxury fashion brand Louis Vuitton, Levis, and Adidas.
