Shakib Khan fails to file DSA case against Rahmat Ullah

Dhallywood actor Shakib Khan on Thursday (March 23) failed to file another case against film producer Rahmat Ullah under Digital Security Act (DSA).

He had to go back following the advice of the cyber tribunal judge.

Dhaka's cyber tribunal judge AM Zulfiqar Hayat today advised Shakib to appear before the court on the next working day (March 27) as the court hour was over.

Earlier today, Shakib filed a defamation case against producer Rahmat Ullah over extortion and threatening to murder.

He filed the case with the court of Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Judge Arafatul Rakib.

After recording the plaintiff’s statement, the court summoned Rahmat Ullah to appear before it on April 26.

A letter was sent to the president of the Bangladesh Film Artistes' Association recently, accusing actor Shakib of misleading assurance along with unprofessional and unethical behaviour.

Shakib was also accused of raping a co-producer in a hotel room with gravely physically injuring the said victim.

The letter further noted that Shakib was detained in Australia for the aforementioned rape case when he returned there in 2018. Unfortunately, as the victim did not come forward, no further action was taken by the Australian law enforcers.

Rahmat Ullah, the producer of Shakib-starring 2017 movie Operation Agneepath, filed the complaints.
