Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif's Tiger 3' has been receiving a phenomenal response from moviegoers.
The film, which also features Emraan Hashmi in the lead, was released in theatres on Diwali, November 12.
Starting from Tiger and Zoya's reunion to the racks sung by Arijit Singh, everything about the film is widely appreciated.
The movie, which witnessed a great opening, entered the 200 crore club.
'Tiger 3' marks the fifth installment of YRF's spy franchise. Helmed by Maneesh Sharma, it was one of the most anticipated films of the year, which opened with great reviews.
After the numbers dropped on Day 6, the weekend proved to be a boon for the film again. As per early estimates, the film collected Rs 17 crore on Day 7 with an overall 21 percent occupancy. This took the total tally to Rs 217.9 crore in its first week.
The latest release had opened at Rs 44.5 crore on the first day. It went on to collect a massive Rs 59.25 crore on Day 2, which happened to be the Goverdhan Puja holiday. However, later the numbers took a dip with the lowest single-day collection recorded on Day 6, which was Rs 13.25 crore.
With the India vs Australia World Cup 2023 match today, November 19, it will be interesting to see how the film will fair on Sunday.
'Tiger 3' follows 'Ek Tha Tiger', 'Tiger Zinda Hai', 'War', and 'Pathaan' in the YRF Spy Universe. The film sees Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif reprising their roles as Avinash and Zoya, respectively.
Directed by Maneesh Sharma, 'Tiger 3' is produced by Aditya Chopra. The film has cameos by Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan.
Its soundtrack is composed by Pritam, while the background score is composed by Tanuj Tiku. Reportedly, 'Tiger 3' was made on an estimated budget of Rs 300 crore, thus making it the most expensive project of Yash Raj Films.
