Bollywood king Shah Rukh Khan’s much-anticipated film “Dunki” is set to release in the country’s theatre on the same day as its global release on 21 December. The Information Ministry of Bangladesh has already granted verbal approval for the film.
Anonno Mamun, spokesperson of importer company Action Cut Entertainment, confirmed the matter to the media.
Anonno Mamun said, “The film will be submitted to the Bangladesh Film Censor Board on Thursday for final clearance. If all goes well, ’Dunki’ will hit the county’s theatre alongside its Bollywood release on 21 December.”
Directed by Rajkumar Hirani and produced by SRK and Gauri Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment, “Dunki” also stars Taapsee Pannu, Boman Irani and Vicky Kaushal in prominent roles. It is SRK’s first project with Hirani. The film has created a buzz among fans, with large-scale first-day-first-show plans across India and globally.
“Dunki” is Shah Rukh’s third film of the year. Earlier this year, he entertained audiences with his action-packed roles in “Pathaan” and “Jawan”.
