American singer-songwriter Charlie Puth got married to his long-time girlfriend Brooke Sansone on September 7 at his family home in California’s Montecito.
He confirmed it in a social media post on Tuesday, dropping photos from the ceremony.
“I love you Brooke…I always have, with you I am my very best. I promise I’ll love you everyday in this life, and even more when we move on to our next. Brooke Ashley Sansone, And now you’ll be Brooke Ashley Puth Thank you for making me the happiest man alive It has always been you,” the singer wrote on Instagram.
For the wedding, Puth opted for a black tuxedo with white lace on the edges. Meanwhile, Sansone sported a white strapless dress, a veil, and minimalistic makeup.
The Attention singer also posted a video from the wedding photoshoot, capturing the special connection between the newlyweds and glimpses from the ceremony held in the presence of their friends and family followed by some after-party moments.
He wrote, “Today I stand before you Brooke, And I can’t help but realize. Today is truly the happiest I’ve been In my 32 years of life. Some things I could not predict But one thing has always been clear. Yes, somehow I seemed to have always known I’d be standing with you up here.”
The couple, both originally from New Jersey, began dating in June 2022. The honoured their hometown by selecting Bruce Springsteen’s Jersey Girl for their first dance, according to a US-based fashion magazine. After a year and three months together, Puth flew from Los Angeles to New York and proposed to Sansone.
In September 2023, Puth announced their engagement with an Instagram post featuring a photo of Sansone showing off her pear-cut diamond ring. “I flew to New York to ask my best friend to marry me, and she said yes. I am the happiest, best version of myself and it is all because of you Brookie. I love you endlessly forever and ever and ever,” the 32-year-old singer wrote.
Brooke Sansone is a digital marketing coordinator who grew up with Charlie Puth in New Jersey.
