DHAKA: For months, readers have been expecting an ugly expose of Gwyneth Paltrow in Vanity Fair after the actress famously campaigned against the story last June.
It was even described in the media as an ‘epic takedown’.
But the magazine’s editor has now said it is not as bad as expected, reports The Straits Times.
In his Editor’s Letter published on Tuesday on the Vanity Fair website, Graydon Carter finally reveals why the story failed to make an appearance after Paltrow warned friends not to talk to the magazine over it.
He says he originally assigned contributing editor Vanessa Grigoriadis to write the story after noticing that people tended to have passionate opinions about the actress, some positive, some negative.
