DHAKA: Johnny Depp confirmed rumours of his engagement to actress Amber Heard by showing off what he calls a ‘chick’s ring’ on his hand.

The actor was asked on Monday if the ring he was wearing confirmed months of rumours that he was engaged.

‘The fact that I`m wearing a chick`s ring on my finger is probably a dead giveaway. Not very subtle,’ Depp, 50, was quoted as replying by media, reports The Straits Times.

He laughed as he lifted his left hand, which showed a single diamond on a band around his ring finger.
