DHAKA: Star Cineplex will screen American comedy-drama film ‘The Hundred-Foot Journey’ at its halls at Bashundhara City Shopping Mall in city’s Panthapath area.
The show of the movie will be held at 11:15am, 1:45pm, 4:15pm and 7:00pm from Friday onwards.
‘The Hundred-Foot Journey’ is a 2014 American movie directed by Lasse Hallström from a screenplay written by Steven Knight, adapted from Richard C Morais’ 2010 novel of the same title.
It stars Helen Mirren, Om Puri, Manish Dayal and Charlotte Le Bon and tells the story of a feud between two adjacent restaurants; one operated by a recently-relocated Indian family and the other managed by a Michelin-starred French chef (Mirren).
The film was produced by Steven Spielberg and Oprah Winfrey for DreamWorks Pictures through their respective production companies, Amblin Entertainment and Harpo Films, in association with Participant Media and Image Nation.
Released on August 8, ‘The Hundred-Foot Journey’ received generally positive reviews and has earned over $85 million at the worldwide box office, says Wikipedia.
