DHAKA: Alliance Française de Dhaka will organize the solo painting exhibition titled ‘Alluvial Rhythm’ by Kalidas Karmakar in its La Galerie in city’s Dhanmondi area.

The inaugural ceremony of the exhibition will held at 5:00pm on Monday.

French ambassador Sophie Aubert will be present at the ceremony as chief guest while Mohammadi Group managing director Rubana Huq and journalist Enayetullah Khan will be present as special guests.

Alliance Française de Dhaka director Bruno Plasse will chair the function.

Born on January 10 in 1946, Kalidas Karmakar made his mark as an artist with a difference in his first ever-major solo exhibition held at Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy Gallery in August in 1976.
