DHAKA: 2014 is closing with a bang for Jennifer Lawrence, who has been ranked the highest-grossing actor in Hollywood.
Forbes magazine says that between ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1’ and ‘X-Men: Days Of Future Past’, the actress’ movies have grossed US$1.4 billion at the box office globally this year.
Forbes says that figure will grow as Mockingjay is still showing in theatres.
It was a big jump for the Oscar winner (for Silver Linings Playbook, 2012) as she was No. 10 on the list last year with US$700 million, reports The Straits Times.
