DHAKA: A two-day Korean Film Festival hosted by the embassy of the Republic of Korea and the Korea Foundation will be held on 13 and 14 November at Bangladesh National Museum auditorium in city.
Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s international affairs adviser Dr Gowher Rizvi will be present as chief guest on the inaugural day of the festival.
Four popular Korean films with both Bangla and English subtitles will be screened at the festival.
Two films ‘Forever the Moment’ and ‘Welcome to Dongmakgol’ will be screened at 3:00pm and 6:00pm respectively on November 13 while the movies ‘The Face Readers’ and ‘How to Steal a Dog’ will be screened at 3:00pm and 6:00pm respectively on the following day.
Along with festivity, various events will be arranged for the public to enjoy the Korean culture.
The organizers will also arrange a photography exhibition of Korean lifestyle and a show of traditional Korean clothes ‘Hanbok’.
