NARAYANGANJ: Popular Bangladeshi film actress Parvin Sultana Diti has been buried by the grave of her father in their family graveyard in Sonargaon upazila of Narayanganj district on Monday afternoon (March 21).
Earlier, her third namaz-e-janaza was held at Duttapara village of the upazila.
The deceased’s son Safayat Hossain Dipta Chowdhury said that her mother has been buried by the grave of her father following her wishes.
Earlier the actress’s second namaz-e-janaza was held in front of Zahir Raihan Colour Lab at Bangladesh Film Development Corporation (BFDC) in city this morning.
Her relatives, well-wishers, co-artistes and film technicians attended the janaza here alongside cultural affairs minister Asaduzzaman Noor, her co-artistes Alamgir, Omar Sunny, Champa, Bindu, Nasrin and directors Mushfiqur Rahman Gulzar and Shah Alam Kiron.
Diti breathed her last at United Hospital in city around 4:05pm on Sunday (March 20) at the age of 52.
Later, her first Janaza was held on the premises of Azad Masjid at Gulshan in city after the Esha prayers Sunday.
She will be buried at her family graveyard at Sonargaon in Narayanganj after another Janaza after the Zuh’r prayer.
Diti left a son and a daughter and thousands of her well-wishers to mourn her death.
She acted in over 200 cinemas and many television dramas.
