DHAKA: The 3-day Dhaka International Folk Festival will kick off at Bangladesh Army Stadium in city on November 10.
Organizers of the festival disclosed the information in a press conference held at a city hotel on Sunday (October 30).
The festival will remain open from 6:00pm to 12:00midnight everyday.
To enjoy the festival online registration is a must.
Free tickets will be available through online registration.
Audiences will get transport facilities to return home after the program.
According to the organizers, audiences would not be allowed to enter the venue with any kinds of bags.
“All songs of the festival will be available on GP music portal after the event and we are really very happy to be a part of this arrangement,” said Grameenphone acting CEO and chief marketing officer Yasir Azman.
Bengal Foundation chairman Abul Khayer said, “Earlier we thought that people may not come to listen to the songs if it is held at a stadium. But things are changed as we have managed all the things in a right way”.
Sun Events chairman and managing director Anjan Chowdhury, Dhaka Bank deputy managing director Emranul Haque, Amra Network managing director Syed Farhad Ahmed and Microsoft Bangladesh managing director Sonia Bashir, among others, were present at the press conference.
