DHAKA: A three-day PRAN Chinigura Aromatic Rice Nabanna Utsab will kick off at Rabindra Sarobar in Dhaka from Wednesday (November 30).

The festival, which will remain open for all from 6:00am to 8:00pm, will continue till December 2.

PRAN Chinigura Aromatic Rice will sponsor the Nobanno Utsab in a bid to introduce the traditional celebrations to the urban sphere.

A total of 32 stalls will be set up where various types of traditional cakes to be displaced at the festival.

The information was disclosed at a press conference at PRAN-RFL Center in Dhaka on Monday.

Chief Operating Officer Mohammad Shahan Shah Azad, Category Manager of Banga Millers Ltd Mustafizur Rahman and Executive Director of Showbiz Entertainment Mehedi Hasan were present in the occasion.

The programs include traditional music, dance, puppet show, merry-go-round, reciting punthi, bioscope, palki, snake charming, lathi khela and monkey-dance show.

Fakir Alamgir, Quddus Bayati, Fakir Sahabuddin, Kiran Chandra, Chandana Majumdar will perform at the Nabanna Utsab.
