DHAKA: Bangladesh film actress Apu Biswas visited her ailing husband Shakib Khan at a hospital in city on Thursday afternoon (April 13) even after their unsettled conflict.  

Earlier on the day, film actor Shakib Khan was admitted to the LabAid Hospital in Dhanmondi for liver complications.

Apu Biswas put on burqa, an enveloping outer dress worn by women in Islamic traditions, to visit her husband in the hospital.

She along with her child baby Abraham Khan Joy went there at about 5:45 pm. She stayed in the cabin of Shakib Khan for 10 to 15 minutes.

Coming out of the hospital, she told Banglanews that Shakib Khan’s condition is well. Nothing happened for worry.  

It was understood from Apu Biswas’s statement that there were no words with Shakib Khan during her visit.   

When asked about her conversation with Shakib Khan, Apu Biswas said that she stayed there for a few minutes. The physicians and nurses were busy for treatment purpose. In that time, Abraham rode his father's lap and began playing, she added.

Apu Biswas informed that her husband is under the treatment of Prof Dr Abdul Wadud Chowdhuruy.  

The film actress requested everyone to pray for her husband for early recovery.
