DHAKA: Parambrata Chattopadhyay and Ashna Habib Bhabna starring film ‘Voyangkor Sundor’ is all set to enthrall the audiences in United Kingdom.

The movie will be shown in seven cities of UK, said sources.

‘Voyangkor Sundor’--a film directed by Animesh Aich--can be enjoyed at Boleyn Cinema in London from September 24 and in Rosedale, Leicester, Cardiff, Manchester, Luton and Bristol cities from September 25.
 
The film will be shown in the UK movie theatres as part of a Bangla movie screening season launched by Bengali Film Club-UK.

Meanwhile, ‘Ronger Duniya’, a film based on the life of legendary Bangladeshi Baul artist Shah Abdul Karim, was shown in early September. ‘Ronger Duniya’ was directed by Moktadir Ibne Salam.

Director of Bengali Film Club-UK actor Shadhin Khasru said that “The arrangement has been made to entertain especially the expatriate Bangladeshis, as to they can enjoy their local films at the cinema halls here. They (the expatriates) are responding to the initiative too.”

“We are showing ‘Voyangkor Sundor’, following ‘Ronger Duniya’. We hope the shows will succeed marking a good attendance of viewers”, he added.  

Earlier, ‘Voyangkor Sundor’ was released in Bangladesh on August 4 this year.

Apart from UK, the movie is being shown in Australia and Singapore, said Bhabna.

“I can feel the expatriates’ affinity for the country, when I go abroad each time”, she said.

“I am hopeful that they will go to the cinema halls to enjoy ‘Voyangor Sundor’, a film of their own country”, said the actress.
