DHAKA: Jessia Islam, the Bangladesh participant in Miss World 2017 Beauty pageant is now facing the ‘Head to Head’ part in the grandiose competition in China.

Of competitors from 120 countries, the crown holder will be announced at the Sanya City Arena on November 18.

The ‘Head to Head’ round began on November 1.

Jessia, however, sought vote in a recent Facebook post, with a vow to accumulate audiences’ preference on her side, in the stiff race. 

She shared a link and urged everyone to vote her besides sharing the link:

“Voting line is open now. Keep voting for winning Bangladesh. Share this link”, she wrote as caption.

Meanwhile, Jessia is holding second position with 15.15% vote.

Nepal and Mongolia participants are holding the top position jointly while Brazil and Venezuela secured fourth and fifth positions respectively.  

Besides, an online body authorized by the arrangers opened a mass voting campaign to favor the preferred competitor.

However, in terms of online voting, Jessia topped the list at present.

However, ‘final 40’ will be selected from this ongoing ‘Head to Head’ round.
