DHAKA: Disregarding the disturbances caused by the drizzling on the moist Agrahayan morning of Thursday (November 16), the seventh edition of Dhaka Lit Fest (DLF) was launched at the Bangla Academy premises.
In the beginning, Manipuri Theatre performed a dance with a vow to welcome the visitors with rhythmic efflux.
Sadaf Saaz, one of the directors of DLF, came to the stage as the dancing feet muzzles.

This festival is a place to spread our thoughts worldwide and also to be enriched with the newer thoughts from outside. This arrangement will remind us about the power of words and beauty”, said Saaz.
The inaugural program was arranged at the Abdul Karim Sahitya Bisharad Auditorium.
Another DLF director Kazi Anis said that the festival is more to celebrate the Bangla language, than to the literature connoisseurs.
